Hotel Hirsch - Fussen

The location was central, fantastic right next to the "old town" pedestrian area. Moreover, it's just off Fuessen center as well as the centre of Fussen a nice.

great location of the hotel, just off the lovely pedestrian zone. also, way down at the end of the restaurant. new-fashioned guest room, extremely comfy beds. perfect and adequate breakfast with extra egg dishes, with astonishing food.

Ease of access to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles - great place to stay for one night if the sole aim of visiting feussen is to visit the castles. Great breakfast. Interesting room themes and furnishings.

For such a well-established hotel, we were surprised that the staff could not recommend any child-friendly activities or provide basic information as to which bus stop the cable car goes from. For the price we paid, we expected the room to have at least basic hotel facilities, such as tea and coffee making facilities, some sort of refrigerator and more than one pillow each. Definitely the least offering of services of all the hotels we stayed at during our European holiday. Despite our booking containing a request for a baby cot in a standard double room, we were given a room with twin beds and no cot.

Perfect for a family getaway

The breakfast was a real treat, a wide selection including fresh eggs and pastries. The staff was friendly they even arranged adjacent rooms for us , made it a lot of fun for the family.

Noise levels from nearby street could use serious attention!!! Lack of air conditioning in older rooms leads to discomfort on warm days, especially when maintaining a pleasant atmosphere should be a priority!!!

charming stay near old town and local attractions

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this good hotel with its excellent proximity to the charming old town and fine Franciscan Monastery of St Stephen, making it so easy to explore and discover historic landmarks on foot.

This is a beautiful hotel which is just corss street from the entrance of old town. The room is nice with antique-like furnitures. The hotel has its own parking lot. The free breakfast is very nice.

Our stay at Hotel Hirsch was great. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel staff was really helpful: providing a room upgrade, early check-out, a bagged breakfast because we had an early train and could not eat breakfast at the hotel. Also, the dinner at Hotel Hirsch was one of the best meals we had during our time in Europe. All of the food and wine were excellent. We had a great experience at Hotel Hirsch.
